The Citizen of the Year award is presented to an individual who continually gives of themselves and helps many others in the process. Our winner this year is a man who has devoted 50 years of his life to either the baseball or hockey benches within our community. His passion is coaching sports and ensuring players of all ages have fun on the field and the ice. For anyone who knows him, they will admire his smile, sense of humor and willingness to help. It is my pleasure to introduce the 2012 Stoney Creek Citizen of the Year – Mr Bill Needham. |
